For YEARS I was trapped in a cycle of emotional eating, followed by waves of guilt and shame. As a healthcare worker in 2020, I often rewarded myself with high-fat, high sugar processed foods to cope with the relentless stress and anxiety. My weight crept up, and I convinced myself that MENOPAUSE meant I’d never lose it—no matter what I tried.
